KK-Sector: Menu

Following the relocation of the Key Location Point (KLP) of Eastern Sector from Kolkata to Bengaluru, the Sector was renamed Karnataka-Kerala Sector. As per the directives in Directorate General Order No. O.IV-11/2016-Org.DA.IV dated 12/07/2016, the Sector officially commenced operations in GC Bengaluru Campus on 24/08/2016.

The Karnataka-Kerala Sector exercises administrative control over:

Range Bengaluru
2 Group Centres : GC Bengaluru and GC Pallipuram
10 Administrative Battalions: 9 Bn, 37 Bn, 81 Bn, 113 Bn, 191 Bn, 192 Bn, 234 Bn, 240 (M) Bn and 242 Bn
2 Composite Hospitals: CH Bengaluru and CH Pallipuram
Dog Breeding & Training School (DB&TS) in Taralu

This Sector is responsible for supervising CRPF deployments in the states of Karnataka and Kerala, the Lakshadweep Islands and the Union Territory of Puducherry (Mahe).
